My favourite dish is pierogi with strawberries.
Pierogi are semicircular dumplings of unleavened dough.
To prepare my dish I need eggs, flour, little pinch of salt, water, and naturally strawberries.
I sift the flour with a sifter, then I make a hole in the center, I drop egg, salt and butter. Gradually adding hot water I knead dough. I make so till the dough will be tender and elastic It takes about 10 minutes,
I wash the fruits, remove the stalks from the strawberries. I cut into small pieces.
I put water on and add a pinch of salt.
I divide the dough in halves and roll out thin. I cut out circles with glass. I placce a small pieces of strawberries in. I fold it and stick together. I drop the pierogi into salted and boiling water. Let it rest in the wather for 7 minutes. I lift it out of water carefully with a perforated spoon. I eat they with cream and I sprinkle sugar over the dish.
