Co znaczy D.O.A. w "Your job's a joke, you're broke, your love life's D.O.A." ?

The only thing that comes to my mind is:

Dead On Arrival (as used by medical staff when a patient doesn't make it alive to the emergency room)

Not sure it fits here 'though...
