Oto, co przeczytałam na stronie Oxfordu: "From 2006 the annual univesity tuition fee at most universities, including Oxford, will be 300Ł. However [!!!] there is no need to pay anything until you have graduated (...) You will be able to take out a loan from the Student Loan Company to cover the fees adn you will not have to start repaying this until you have graduated and you are earning more than 15 000Ł (2006 figures)."
Wysłałam do nich maila z zapytaniem czy ja jako international applicant miałabym również taką możliwość. Oto odpowiedź:
Dear Agata,
Thank you for your email.
I regret to inform you that funds for overseas students following undergraduate courses are very limited. Students are usually expected to find an appropriate source of funding in their own country. For details of the very limited scholarships available please see the Student Funding and International Office website at http://www.admin.ox.ac.uk/io/scholinfo.shtml or refer to page 17 of the Undergraduate Prospectus. If you have further questions you may wish to contact the Student Funding and International Office at the University Offices, Wellington Square, Oxford, OX1 2JD or by email: [email]
At http://www.admissions.ox.ac.uk/int/eu/2006eunotes.pdf you can find notes providing an outline of undergraduate application procedures specifically for
applicants from the European Union. If you have any further questions after reading these notes, please do not hesitate to contact us again.
If you would like further information about Oxford University please refer to our website at www.admissions.ox.ac.uk. You can download the full prospectus
from www.admissions.ox.ac.uk/downloads.shtml.
If you would prefer to order a printed copy of the prospectus, please go to www.admissions.ox.ac.uk/epay. Prospectuses are free, but we do ask for a payment
of Ł5 to cover the postage costs for delivery to addresses outside the UK.
I hope this is of some help, but please contact me again if I can be of any further assistance.
With best wishes
Oxford Colleges Admissions Office

Kurczę, tak trochę nie na temat, nieprawdaż? :)
Może jednak porzucić oksfordzkie mrzonki i przerzucić się na architekturę w Dublinie. Bo porywać się na architekturę w Cambridge trochę się boję, a oksfordzkie English and Modern Languages brzmią bardziej przytulnie :)
Pozdrawiam
