10 – You accidentally broke a vase at your friend’s house. Write a letter of apology for the vase. (120 – 180 words)

Dear Charles,
The Saturday house-warming party was great. I already conveyed my apology to you on Saturday but I feel that it might not be enough. I think that I should make up for it in some way either. I can glue the broken vase’s pieces together so that it will look like a new. And your parents won’t certainly recognize the damage or scratches on it.

If it is still not sufficient I could buy a new vase which I have recently seen at an auction. It is not a genuine Chinese vase but it looks very alike.

I hope the accidental accident will not influence our friendship and it won’t cause any trouble to you. I hope you don’t run into trouble because of my carelessness.

The vase you had must have been very valuable and expensive thus I tell you it doubles my sorrow.

Regards
Peter Romeo

11 – You have just been offered a very good job abroad. Write to your friend, giving details of your new plans.

Dear Patrick,
I’ve been looking for a job for almost two years. I had to did badly paid odd jobs to provide for my family. Now, I have been given a possibility to work for a foreign company as an English Speaking Agent – I will have to work with the telephone and make phones to the company’s customers and present their offer.

At the beginning I am going to hold a low-ranking position but it time I could rise to a high-ranking one. My new boss seems a demanding person but fair. I’d like my boss to be frank and opened up to subordinates.

If I manage to settle there I will let you know and I will be glad to invite you here so that you will be able to find a good job abroad, outside Poland. Poland doesn't give a choice. No matter your education is your future is in danger of being unemployed for a long time. I look forward to you conveying your opinion on my travel to Ireland. I'm hoping for the best.

Regards,
Peter Romeo

ThankS

I already 'conveyed' (dobre slowo, ale tutaj nie pasuje do kontekstu, jest za powazne) my apology to you on Saturday (przecinek przed 'but') but I feel that it might not be enough. I think that I should make up for it in 'some way either' (to jest zle, tutaj ...some other way). I can glue the 'broken vase’s pieces' (zla kol slow...pieces of the brokez vase) together so that it will look like 'a' (niepotr) new.

It is not a genuine Chinese vase but it looks 'very' wg mnie niepotr) alike.

I hope the 'accidental accident' (zmien slowa, cos za duzo acci...acci...) will not influence our friendship and it won’t cause any trouble to you.

The vase you had must have been very valuable and expensive 'thus' (nie pasuje za bardzo tutaj) I tell you it doubles my sorrow.

I had to 'did' (zly czas) badly paid odd jobs to provide for my family. Now, I have been given 'a' THE possibility to work for a foreign company as an English Speaking Agent – I will have to work 'with' (tutaj mysle, ze 'on' bedzie lepiej) the telephone and make 'phones' (nie tutaj 'calls') to the company’s customers and present their offer.

At the beginning I am going to hold a low-ranking position (przecinek przed 'but') but it time I could rise to a high-ranking one. My new boss seems a 'demanding person but fair' (zla kol slow...a fair, but a demanding person). I’d like my boss to be frank and 'opened' (zly czas) up to subordinates.

If I manage to settle there I will let you know and I will be glad to invite you 'here' (cos nie za bardzo, raz 'there' a pozniej 'here', lepiej tego nie pisac) so that you will be able to find a good job abroad, outside (cos brak) Poland. 'Poland doesn't give a choice' (wg mnie nie za bardzo twiedzace o co chodzi). No matter (tu brakuje pare slow) your education is your 'future is in danger of being unemployed for a long time' (przemysl to jeszcze raz, bo to nie 'futue' tylko 'ty' jako osoba).
I look forward to you 'conveying' (nie pisz tego slowa, ono jest za formalne na tutaj) your opinion on my travel to Ireland.
