Writing task
Writing a formal letter You and your class are planning to give a surprise party for your English teacher Chris Wilso, who is leaving at the end of term. Read the last part of a letter from Mrs Wilson, your teacher's wife, and the notes written on it. Write a letter to Mrs Wilson giving her details of what you have arranged and asking for any information you need.
Dear Mrs Wilson,
At the beggining I would thanks a lot for your letter. My classmates and I greatly appreciated that you agree give us some necessary information which help to organize a perfect surprise party for Mr Wilson. I am glad that you agreeing not to say anything to your husband.
We are planning to do it on 25 March (Friday) at 6.30 pm at our school. The main part of the event we hope it is going to be a comic sketch which took part all teachers and pupils. Next we will organise the ceremonial supper. The group of students present Mr Wilson beautifully wraped gift. There are two options, we want to give him "The history of Jazz" or CD's "World Music". Which one will be more suitable for Mr Wilson?
If I could I ask you some organisation guestions.
Will be the chocolate gateau right or we have to order different flavour?
Do you like that guests outfits will be more elegant way or casual?
Please inform me is it Friday suitable term for you? If rather not we will try to change it.
