The Witcher is an action role-playing video game based on the book series of the same title by Polish author Andrzej Sapkowski. The game is developed by CD Projekt RED and published by Atari.
It tells the story of Gelart of Rivia one of the title “witchers”, which are the group of mercenaries, gifted witch supernatural skills and power, specialized in killing monsters. The plot is set in a medieval fantasy world. We first meet Gelart as a hero tasked to find the way to cure the daughter of King Foltest from curse which one will kill before the next full moon. And this is the beginning of a long and epic journey.
The game is just perfectly done and in 2010 was included as one of the titles in the book 1001 Video Games You Must Play Before You Die. One unique feature of The Witcher's is gameplay a specially a combat system. Instead of continually left clicking to attack as in games such as Diablo, The Witcher ones is little more involving. The texturing and models are very nicely done, due to that while playing the game we have an impression that we live in this world.
Concluding, it is undoubtedly outstanding and exhilarating game which one has already become a must-have for every having self-respect player. The game was highly rated and received awards for The best RPG Game of 2011. I thoroughly recommend this game.
