It was a night. Tom was coming back home after another party. He wasn't much drunk but very tired.
He reached his flat and not until he went to the kitchen, did he hear his wife.
'Where have you been?' she asked. She must haven't slept.
'Here and there' answered Tom.
'My mum was here' the woman said slowly. 'She is leaving to France.'
'Ok, ok' said Tom anxiously.
Next morning the man woke up very late. He wanted to eat something but the fridge was empty. Tom thought that Jane had gone to the shop so he turned on the TV and sat on the sofa. Suddenly, he noticed a piece of paper on the table.
'It is Jane's handwriting' whispered Tom. The message said: 'I went with my mum to France. I am letting you know although I am not sure if you are interested in. I will contact you in a weeks' time.'
In one time Tom realised that his Jane had forsaken him. Until she was by his side, he didn't know how much he loves her.
'It can't be like this anymore' decided Tom. 'I have to change my life.'
Tom abandoned a night life and now spends more time with Jane who agreed to come back and give her husband a chance. It has been half a year from that moment and Tom hasn't let Jane down.

She must haven't slept. - Jak będzie po angielsku "musiała nie spać"?
Until she was by his side, he didn't know how much he loves her. - To może: "He didn't know how much he loved her, when she was by his side." Sama nie wiem.
A jeszcze "He wasn't much drunk". He wasn't so drunk?
She must haven't slept. - Jak będzie po angielsku "musiała nie spać"? imo, nie ten contraction, ale może się mylę;)
A jeszcze "He wasn't much drunk". He wasn't so drunk? w sensie ZBYT/ZA pijany jest ang odpowiednik.
>>She must haven't slept. - Jak będzie po angielsku "musiała nie spać"?
