Project review meetings have got a mixed reputation and some have been labelled / have labelled
them as blame storming. It's a shame since a lot can be learned / can learn when they are handled / handle
effectively. Organize and run a good one, and major quality improvements
will be generated / will generate for your working procedures. So how can you make them work
for you? Surprisingly few managers are prepared / prepare well. Invest the time early on, and more
can be achieved / can achieve in less time. also, make sure that all participants are given /
give the documents well in advance.
Go back to documents from the start of the project. These can be compared/ can be compare with the actual project costs to reveal
whether you were realistic or not. Often insufficient search will have been resulted/will have resulted in problems.
It makes sense if staff are interviewed / interview for opinions. statistics are fine, but some information
will not be revealed/will not reveal business data alone. Ultimately, don't be put off by the
blame storming tag. A good review will help your firm be improved / improve.

zad 4
Sven - Hi Juliana. What brings you to the coffee machine so early in the morning.
Juliana - oh, hello Sven, thought I'd grab a quick break. I wanted to make some copies, but the
photocopier was serviced (service).
Sven - again! It is serviced (service) every week! Last Tuesday, I had a ton of copies to make and it
was not repaired (repair). I know it was already checked (check) this week and I'm sure it will be manded
(mend)again next week. What's the matter with it?
juliana - well, remember, when the old one has been replaced (replace) they said it has not been used (not, use) properly:
that people hadn't been following the instructions.
sven - yeah, I know. But, at least the old one didn't have to be dismantled(dismantle) every week.
And it was easy to use, these one's too complicated, and we've had nothing but hassle with it since
it has been installed(install)! The real problem it that we have not been trained (train) to operate it, have we?
juliana - you're right, Sven, but I've heard that some training is being organized (organize) at the moment.
so, look on the bright side!
sven - I guess so, Juliana. Anyway, let me get you a coffee.
julaina I'm afraid you can't. The machine's out of order! I was just going to check when it
______ last (service)!

useful questions
that's a very good question.
I'm sure you raised that point.

Awkward questions
I'm afraid I don't have the figures with me. can i get back to you on that?
So in other words you're asking....
I understand your position, but I can assure you we've done our homework.

Irrelevant questions
to be honest, I think that is a different issue.
I'm not sure that's really adding to the discussion today,

unecessary questions
I think I covered that in part two, but let me just check.
Well, you may missed in the slide about growth forecast, I mentioned...

No questions
a question I'm often asked is: where do you see the firm in five years?
1 BY business data?
reszta ok

3. 2d dobrze przepisane?

4 wlasnie wtedy byl serwisowany
repair, check, replaced, not used, install - zle czasy

5 sure nie kojarzy sie z przydatnymi pytaniami
missed na pewno zle

sprawdz tez pisownie 'niepotrzebny' w naglowku

1. Tak.
3. "We're going to have it fixed by IT." Więc raczej dobrze.
4. Teraz czasy dobrze?
service - "was being serviced",
repair - "hasn't been repaired ",
check - "Has already been checked ",
replaced - "was being replaced ",
not used - "was not being used",
install - "was installed",
Niepotrzebny - unnecessary

Dziękuję za pomoc.
5. have overlooked?
repair - lepiej, choc nadal zle, to bylo tydzien temu, wiec nie ma odniesienia do terazniejszosci
not used - wtedy; kiedy byl wymieniany, czy wczesniej?

3.3 nie jest w formie 'have sth done'....or is it?

Czyli
repair - hasn't repaired
not used - hadn’t been used

"I'm sure you raised that point." - A zamiast sure = certain?

was being repaired

not use - ok
