Polish is a Slavic language. It's claim to be one of the most difficult European languages, so it isn't very popular. Nowadays it's used by about 46 milion people in the world, in general by Poles. Before it became a Polish national language it defeated many difficulties. The biggest of them was a German, Russian and Austrian occupation. For over one hundred years it was completely banned. It was used in no office, department or school. Everyone who talked Polnish, was immediately punished. Despite this it has been used and taught in a secret for all this time, this is why it has survived. The reminder after this period of history are german and russian words, which bacame a part of this language and are commonly used in some regions of Poland.
Nowadays its importance is growing up. As a national language is used in each Polish school, office, company and in government. Besides it is one of the offical languages of European Union, since Poland has became a member of this organisation.

Z góry wielki dzięki za sprawdzenie.

Macie może jakiś pomysł jak można zastąpić ciągle powtarzające się "is used"? Może "is resorted"? tak żeby nie zmieniło sensu zdania.
