At the beginning of the world all animals lived in harmony. Only a giraffe , who thought that she was better than other animals have a quarrel with them.
The animals wanted to persuade giraffe to change her behavior. That did nothing. Life in the world became more and more unpleasant. The animals told on to king about problems with giraffe every day. The king - old and clever lion had always a bright ideas but he also didn’t know what he had to do. After some time all animal earth inhabitants had a quarrels with themselves. An elephant had a quarrel with a mouse, a cat with a dog. The King asked a wizard for help. After long contemplation he had an idea - he cast a curse on giraffe and her neck had been elongate.
From that day to this giraffes can speak only with other giraffes and can’t quarrel with nobody.

After some time all animalS INHABITING THE earth 'inhabitants' (niepotr) had 'a' (dlaczego uzywasz 'a' przed rzeczow w l. mn?) quarrels with themselves. An elephant had a quarrel with a mouse AND a cat with a dog. The King asked 'a' (czy byle jaki wizard, czy ten najwazniejszy - wtedy THE) wizard for help.
After long contemplation he had an idea - he cast a curse on THE giraffe
and her neck 'had been' WAS elongateD.
From that day to this giraffes can speak only with other giraffes and
can't quarrel with 'nobody' (nie, tutaj potrzeba ..with ANYBODY).
