The four people get stuck in the lift. A businesswoman, a young man from South Africa, a priest and a pickpocket. They are completely different but something links them. The question is what they have in common.
The answer is very easy. Each person had their own business in the same skyscraper.
The businesswoman left her office in the run. She has never stood there for a long time. She had took a necessary documents and has been in a hurry to the important meeting. The woman improved her make-up and came into the empty lift. It wasn’t surprising that the lift was empty because the businesswoman has worked on the last floor.
The lift stopped on the 78th floor. The door opened. The priest and a man in the middle age got in.
The priest appeared in the office building to gain sponsors who give him money for the church. He had signed the agreement with his donator and after that he has intended to go to mass.
On the same floor the middle-aged man visited a travel agency. He wanted buy a ticket to some exotic country wide of the USA. It was caused by that he was wanted for many robberies. He had to escape from country.
After a while the young black man got in the lift. He immigrated to the USA from South Africa 5 years ago. He arrived to the skyscraper to apply for a job as an office manager. The man was very excited because he got his first really serious job. He joined to the others in the lift with smiling on his face.
The lift started to go down. Suddenly the lift stopped and the lights went out.
Four people get stuck in the glass elevator.
Everyone is anxious. They didn’t know what to do.
The businesswoman starts to scream. She panics . Her lateness can interfere with the most important deal in her life.
The priest behaves in completely different way. He was calm and self-possessed.
Everyone only can hear a low prayer of clerical.
The situation is good occasion for the pickpocket. He can’t miss the boat. The wealthy-dressed businesswoman fall victim to him. She loses her credit card from her bag.
The young man is scared and starts to cry. He can’t get the breath. The fear of his life crushes him. The priest cheers him up and support.
After 20 minutes the power comes back and everybody leaves the lift save and sound.
