So far, everything had gone according to his plans. It was A really pretty afternoon. He HAD arranged A meeting with his girlfriend. They wanted to go FOR A walk, because during this time of year SUCH pretty days do not happen often. He closed the [front] door and was just about to run to his car, when suddenly he heard his mobile phone RINGING.
He picked up [answered] THE phone and heard THE antsy [może lepiej UPSET] voice OF his mother. She said that his fatHer had had an accident. A lorry ploughed into him when he was waiting FOR A bus. AN ambulance took him to the closest hospital. His mother was already AT THE n hospital. He prosmMISed that he would come as soon as he COULD.
He got TO his car and drove to the park in which he had to see [-with] his girlfriend. When he found her, he wanted to tell her about the disaster which STRUCK his family. But she was very fidgety and did not LET him GET a word in edgeways. She GAVE him back HER engagement ring and said that she did not want to get married TO him. After that she turned around and walked away.
He sat down on the closest bench and thought about this day. He came to THE conclusion that it never rains but it pours. And it was probably the worst day ever.
