"Alice in Wonderland" was based on a book with the same title which was written by Lewis Carroll. The fantasy adventure film directed by Tim Burton, written by Linda Woolverton, and starring Mia Wasikowska as Alice Kingsleigh, Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter and Helena Bonham Carter as the Red Queen. The music – electrifying and disturbing – was created by brilliant Danny Elfman.
Both the novel and the film version are full of very magic and bizarre events. Tim Burton seems to be the perfect director for this kind of adaptation. Film is a very charming, varied and interesting story, the world in the production of Tim Burton is a dark, strange, and even dangerous. The acting does not require any more comment because it is a true masterpiece. The screenplay has changed and varied. The film is not an accurate adaptation of Lewis Carroll’s novel, it is a continuation of the lot of the main character but author of screenplay kept the information that actually Alice as a child was already in Wonderland. They are also the threads and motives drawn from the writer’s second novel – “Through the Looking Glass”.
Lewis Carroll hid in his work a lot of symbols, ideologies, and also threads referring to his life and experiences. Strange and unusual world, which was created by Lewis Carroll, fascinated not only children but also adults. Alice's adventures stimulate the imagination, develop sensitivity and surprise. Since its first publication in 1865, the book has an unflagging popularity.
The film more or less coincides with ideas what you experienced while reading.
Each in its own way expresses the emotion shows worlds, characters, stories. Each can be interpreted differently, and both in terms of interpretation complement and enrich each other.

Z góry bardzo dziękuję:)
