Work is the most important thing in our lives, more important than social life. At work everyone is responsible for their part.
My job is interesting but sometimes can be very stressful. I have been working at “Paperchase Accountancy – Accounting to the Restaurant Trade” for six months. This is a big and thriving company. The firm has about 30 people working for them.
I’m in a Supplier Team and I’m responsible for suppliers payments. I’m getting paper work every Monday and then I have to enter in the system. I have to be very careful and should because one mistake and my monthly reports are wrong.
The next step is the monthly report, there are 40 suppliers I have to prepare payments by cheque or BACS. First, I send the report to the restaurant for an approval. When I get the approval, I print the remittances. The remittances are extremely important as they contain the dates, invoices and amounts which must be paid. I attach a check to every remittance. Bacs remittances I send to Suppliers by e-mail or by post.
I’m happy working for this company. It’s good practice for me.
