A w ogole to nie powinno byc '...vault of heaven' (bez 'the')?

vault - w sensie sklepienia budynku może zostać samo, np w konstrukcjach żelbetonowych

ja sie spotkalem z "the" jako podkreślenie

Chodzi mi o przedimek przed 'heaven': '...in the vault of (-) heaven'.
