What, you stumble for words now ? one syllable operator ? Cat got you tongue or what ?
Cytat: savagerhino
If you really want to know, I can tell you when the perfective " I have learned ... since 2000"
can be considered correct..but you don't want to know because of your big inflated ego , eh..

do a decent thing and please enlighten me on the issue then

What, you stumble for words now ? one syllable operator ? Cat got you tongue or what ?

in the UK, there's a growing trend towards saying a mere 'nice' instead of 'whatever'

I'm really beginning to worry about you, mate - once you've learned that you've been all wrong about the issue, you could actually not bear the fact

Why should I ? After this above ?

First, you admit you were wrong, second, you admit you're a massive prick, then I'll think about it.

What are you on today, prozac ?

That won't do, in which case it means you've lost, I'm afraid :D :P
Why ? Because you’re anxious not to hemorrhage your so called ‘shitty competence’ here on this forum ? And that means that you suck, that's all, you ‘15 years English grammar veteran.’

You neither say nor write 15 years English grammar veteran, sir; instead, you either say or write 15-year English grammar veteran.
will you remember that simple rule, mate
oh split the scene already, it's f****g informal or familiar context , don't you get it ?
Do you think I didn't know about it ?It's not your little slimy hypercorrection sandbox. This is what people talk like in real life. And I'm not your mate. I don't even like you.

This is what people talk like in real life.

if that's the case, then let me make myself the one and only to correct them :P
I told you, swell-head, where your place is. Dont change the subject. Why are you always trying to put deadwood on any brick you drop? You understand what I’m saying to you ? You’re downright incompetent, this is what you are. We’re taking about you, not me. In fact, I’ve never learned anything in this very sense ‘study’.It’s always been my extracurricular activity. You’re supposed to be an expert here but those in the know know you're a second rater.
Want to educate them how to speak good English ? Go to Dallas, TX.
I rest my case.

nah, couldn't be bothered, to be honest
Then give your face a rest and go to your blackboard joint to educate whoever you want.
Talking to you was like talking to a dead camel in the desert. You're an extremely obnoxious individual. I know it.
now back to the core topic in this very thread, do you still think it's wrong to say I have learned English since 2000? eh?
In the habitual sense and stading alone ' ucze sie od 2000 roku, yes.

Oh, I forgot about my condition, I've had my headphones all the time while 'talking' to you in the deep dark corner of my attic, ha-ha

so whatever other sense would make that sentence correct then :?
no engee, admit you were wrong first.
I meant in the 'leading up to now' sense, just in case.
Macie rację - jest różnica znaczeniowa:
Eva ma rację : cały błąd polega na różnicy między learn i study.

Gdyby było : I have studied English since 2000 byłoby ok , z learn to nie działa.

Of course it doesn't. There's this one awfully headstrong freshman though who doesn't want to admit
he 'butchered' the issue in the first place.
I can see the case where we can use the perfective learn with since ‘year’ but it won’t obviously be considered as continuing but rather as completed or incompleted, that’s all.
