Stolica jest Madryt, a innymi wiekszymi miastami a tu: Barcelona, Walencja itd. (miasta wymienione ponizej). Hiszpania nalezy do Unii Europejskiej i NATO. Dominuje jezyk hiszpanski i religia katolicyzm , walutą jest euro. Hiszpania na zachodzie graniczy z Portugalia, na wschodzie z Francja i Andora, a na poludniu z niewielkim terytorium brytyjskim - Gibraltarem. Hiszpania jest monarchą konstytucyjna, monarchia jest dziedziczna, a parlament - dwuizbowy. Państwo dzieli się na 17 wspólnot autonomicznych i 50 prowincji z wlasna stolica. Do Hiszpanii naleza dwa archipelagi: Wyspy Kanaryjskie i Balerary oraz Hiszpanskie enklawy znajdujace sie w polnocnej Afryce - Penon de Belez de la Gomera, itd (reszta wymieniona ponizej).
