Hospital Rudzka Street …Campus
In 1857 was built Hospital in Rudzka street. In the beginning got treatment workers from nearby coal mine.
Next this hospital which called “ Szpital nr 1 przy ulicy Rudzkiej” was for everybody from city to 1999.
In spring 1999 year originated Economics Academy, Polytechnic and Silesian University. This enterprise was for young people who want obtained better education. Now “Campus” is one of the best high schools in region. In this year on Polytechnics branch is around 2600 students. “Campus” doesn’t have problem’s with recruitment. Most popular branches is sociology and political science. In this two branches for one place falling four person. I think that place will be better with every year for students and Rybnik.
Hospital Powstańców Street….. Music School
To February 2001 in Powstańców Śląskich Street was Hospital with ward of Internal Medicine and gynaecological ward. From 2001 to 2003 year this place was renovate. 7 December 2003 was important date for this place and Rybnik because opened than National School of Music which name was Karola i Atoniego Szafranków. Now this building is one of the most modern and famous music schools in country. It has fifty classrooms and cozy hall for hundred people. This school educated many famous people who achieve success on the world. Now in school attending about 320 students in a few sections. In school is also orchestras. For example symphony orchestra, choirs….etc.
In my opinion this school will expand like this now.
