From the dawn of history people form themselves into couples. The normal course of events created an institution like a marriage. Nowadays more and more people are against it and said that modern society did not need it at all. I disagree with that statement and I am going to prove that marriage was, is, and will be needed.

First of all, the marriage join people's lives not only in emotional, but also in economic ways. The governments support couples, because it is the main basis of society and it provides stability for the members of a family. Therefore the authorities usually adopt a social policy.

Secondly, the human beings are social animals with sexual needs. In the past it was really difficult to control people with respect to theirs sexual behaviours. It was felt that there should be a supervising force to contain the animal behaviour of human beings. The institution called marriage was set up that everybody could take a sexual pleasure in a systematic way.

On the contrary, those who are against the marriage, claim that it is only a red-tape and they do not need an official declaration of love. I disagree with that opinion. Without any kind of obligation is much easier to split up and relationship is more unstable, which can have a negative effect on partner and theirs children's mental health.

To conclude, I believe that the marriage is needed in our time as it was needed in the past. The legislative regulations guarantee safety not only for individual person but also for the whole society. The only way is to educate people how important decision they are taking when they get married.

On the contrary, those who are against 'the' (niepotr) marriage, claim that it is only 'a' (niepotr) red-tape and they do not need an official declaration of THEIR love.
Without any kind of obligation IT is much easier to split up and relationship is more unstable, which can have a negative effect on THE partner and 'theirs' THEIR children's mental health.
The only way (to retain this institution) is to educate people ON how important decision they are taking when they get married.
